Contracts & proposals

From “yes” to signed and paid, in one flow

A proposal built from your packages becomes a contract with the couple’s details already filled in; they sign on their phone; the retainer is collected on the same page. The signed copy, the invoice and the job are one record.

Proposals from your own price sheet

Packages, hours, deliverables and add-ons come from the price sheet you set once. A proposal is assembled from them, not typed; the client picks options and the total updates. Accepting a proposal creates the contract and the invoice.

Contracts with merge fields

Templates for weddings, portraits, newborns, events, elopements, commercial work, second shooters and model releases ship with the product; paste your own clauses over them. Names, dates, venue, amounts and delivery dates fill from the job, so nothing is retyped and nothing is left as a blank.

E-signature and the retainer together

The client signs on their phone. The deposit is requested on the same page and paid into your own Stripe account. The signed PDF, the payment and the date land on the job at once, and the pipeline moves to Booked only when your booking rule is met — not because a proposal went out.

Review before you send

An optional AI review reads a contract for missing clauses and inconsistencies — a delivery date that contradicts the proposal, a fee that does not match — and lists them as notes. It is a reviewer, not an author.

How it works

  1. 1Set your packages and prices once.
  2. 2Build a proposal from them and send it from the client’s conversation.
  3. 3The client accepts, signs, and pays the retainer on one page.
  4. 4The job is created with the signed contract, the invoice and the date.

Honest limits

  • Starter: 5 proposals and 5 contracts at a time. On Pro and above both are unlimited.

Questions

Are Booksui e-signatures legally binding?
Contracts record the signer, time, IP address and the document version, and the signed PDF is stored with the job. Electronic signatures are recognised in most jurisdictions; check your own if you are unsure.
Can I use my own contract wording?
Yes. Paste your clauses into a template and use merge fields for the client, event and amounts. The shipped templates are a starting point, not a requirement.
When does a lead become “Booked”?
When your booking rule is met — by default a signed contract and a paid retainer. Sending a proposal or a contract does not book a date on its own.
Is there a free wedding photography contract template?
Yes — the free contract generator on this site produces one from the same template the product ships, no account needed.
