Reports
The numbers, from what was actually paid
Most studios know their revenue roughly and their booking rate not at all. Booksui’s reports are built from the payments, inquiries and jobs already in the workspace, with the date range and the definition shown beside each figure so you can argue with them.
Booking rate, with its denominator
Of the inquiries that arrived in a range, how many booked and how many are still open. The count beneath the percentage is always shown, so a small sample is never dressed up.
Where the money came from and went
Payments recorded in a range, the average booking, and what is on the pipeline now. Profit and loss and a tax summary are separate tabs, built from the same records.
A forecast for the season
Studio adds forecasting, so a quiet quarter is visible before it arrives.
Handed to your accountant
Export for QuickBooks, Xero or your accountant. The export’s summary matches the profit and loss and tax tabs to the cent.
How it works
- 1Open Reports and choose a date range.
- 2Read the booking rate and the payments for that range.
- 3Export for your accountant when the quarter closes.
Questions
- Are the reports based on invoices or payments?
- On payments you recorded or received. An invoice that has not been paid is not income in these reports.
- Can I export for QuickBooks or Xero?
- Yes. The export produces files that QuickBooks Online and Xero import. A direct, live sync is not switched on.
- Which plan has analytics?
- An analytics dashboard is part of Pro, and Studio adds advanced analytics and forecasting.
On every plan
- Import from HoneyBook, Studio Ninja, Pixieset, Pic-Time, ShootProof or CSV
- Works for photographers, videographers, DJs and planners
