Three creative business owners reviewing an event floor plan together in a daylight workspace

API

Your studio’s events, in your own tools

Agencies and busy studios end up with a spreadsheet, a reporting tool and a chat channel that all want to know what happened. The API and webhooks let Booksui tell them, and let your systems write back.

A REST API with your own key

Create an API key in your studio’s settings, then create contacts, manage inquiries and export data from your own scripts. The reference is public.

Webhooks when something happens

Add a URL and Booksui calls it when an event occurs, such as a new inquiry or a signed contract, with a payload you can sample before relying on it.

Yours to switch off

Keys and webhook URLs can be removed at any time. Nothing is sent to a URL you have not added.

How it works

  1. 1Open Settings → Webhooks and create an API key.
  2. 2Add a webhook URL and send a sample event.
  3. 3Call the API from your own tool.

Questions

Which plan includes the API?
API access and advanced webhooks are part of Agency. Other plans can still export their data.
Is there documentation?
Yes. The REST reference is public at booksui.com/api-docs.
Can I get notified in a chat tool?
You can send a webhook to any service that accepts a web request. There is no native chat integration.
