Crew for the date, or work for your open dates

Find Crew is the Booksui Network. A studio in any wedding trade sends a Crew Call when a date needs another pair of hands, and the second shooters, second-camera operators, DJs and assistant coordinators who work in that area answer the calls that fit them. Joining is free, and Booksui takes no cut of the rate you agree.

Who it is for

Studios that need a second shooter for a wedding, a second camera on a film, a DJ to cover a date they are double-booked on, or an assistant coordinator for a long day. And the people who do that work: you can join only to pick up crew dates, without running a studio in Booksui at all.

A Crew Call says it all up front

The studio names the role, the date, the hours, the city and the fee before anyone is asked. Booksui sends the call to available crew whose roles match, by email and in Booksui. Each person accepts or declines, the studio chooses who it books, and contact details are shared once the booking is confirmed.

Matched by city or region

Crew name the city and region they work in on their profile, and a Crew Call reaches the people working in that area. Profiles are seen only inside Booksui, never published on the open web, and each person decides whether studios can find them at all.

Verification is a badge, not a gate

Crew can add identity, insurance and work checks to their Trust Passport, and each current check shows as a badge a studio sees before it chooses. It is optional: joining and taking part do not wait on it, and each studio decides how much a badge matters for its date.

Paid directly, kept in full

Booksui does not take payment for a Crew Call and takes nothing from it. The studio and the crew member settle the fee between themselves, on an invoice or however they already do.

How it works

1Crew: create a free account from the Find Crew page and choose to join as crew.
2Add your roles, the city and region you work in, your rate and your open dates, then turn on discovery.
3Studios: open Network in Booksui and send a Crew Call with the role, date, hours, city and fee.
4Matching crew accept or decline; the studio books one, and contact details are shared once it is confirmed.

Honest limits

How many people a Crew Call reaches depends on who has joined in that city or region; where few have joined, it can reach nobody yet.
Booksui does not pay crew or hold the fee: the studio and the crew member arrange payment between themselves.
