Three creative business owners reviewing an event floor plan together in a daylight workspace

Import

Bring your clients with you, and see them before you commit

Staying with a tool you have outgrown is usually about the clients already in it. The import wizard has a path for the tools studios leave most often, shows you how every column will land, and writes nothing until you confirm.

A path for the tool you are leaving

HoneyBook and Studio Ninja have their own paths in the wizard. Pixieset, Pic-Time and ShootProof import clients and any delivery you export as a ZIP, and any other tool brings its contacts by CSV.

Review, then confirm

Each step shows how your columns map to Booksui’s fields. Nothing is created until you confirm, and running the same file twice skips contacts that are already on file.

Clients, jobs and payments

Clients arrive with their jobs, status and dates. Invoices and payments come from the payments export, grouped by invoice number.

What does not move

Workflows and email templates are not moved; you rebuild those here. The import is a one-time review-and-confirm step, not a live sync.

How it works

  1. 1Export your clients, jobs and payments from your current tool.
  2. 2Open Settings → Import and choose the tool.
  3. 3Upload, review the mapping, and confirm.

Questions

Is importing free?
Yes. Import is on every plan, including Starter, so you can see your real clients here before paying for anything.
Will it create duplicates if I upload twice?
No. Contacts already on file are skipped on a second run of the same file.
Can I take my data back out?
Yes. You can export your contacts and invoices as CSV files whenever you like.

On every plan
