Is there a free plan?
No free plan: every plan starts with a 14-day trial on a card, nothing is charged until it ends, and you can cancel in one click before then. Starter is $12/mo and holds one job at a time: 2 photo and video galleries, 1 booking page, 10 active inquiries and 10 bookings a month, with unlimited contacts. Move up when you pass that, or when you want more storage, automation, or team seats.
Can I import from Honeybook, Dubsado, or Pixieset?
HoneyBook contacts and projects, Studio Ninja jobs, and Pixieset clients and the galleries you download as ZIPs have their own import paths. From Dubsado, or a DJ’s or planner’s tool, export your clients as a CSV and the generic import brings them across; projects and invoices stay behind. Anyone already on file is skipped, so a second upload does not duplicate them.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data stays yours. One-click export everything: contacts and invoices as CSVs, plus file archives of the photos, video and documents you delivered. Schedule a full account deletion from settings; we honor it on the date you pick.
Does the client portal need a login?
No. Every client gets a private, unguessable link to their stuff: invoice, contract, questionnaire, and the photos or film you deliver. No passwords to forget. You can add password protection to a sensitive gallery if you want.
How do payments work?
Every invoice belongs to its job and shows the ways you already take money: PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, Square, your own payment links or bank details. When the client says they’ve paid, you confirm it and its reminders stop; cash is recorded by hand. Late fees and auto-reminders included. Booksui does not take card payments itself yet.
Is there a guarantee?
If Booksui is not working for you in your first 30 days on a paid plan, reply to any email from us and we refund that month — no form, no call, and your data exports with you.
What if I need to switch plans later?
Instantly. Upgrade or downgrade any time: we prorate. Cancel and you keep access until the end of the current billing period. No re-onboarding, no "platinum success manager" call.
Is there an app, or is this web only?
Web-first, mobile-optimized. Everything works on your phone: log a trip from the car, check an inquiry during coffee. A native app is on the roadmap; ask us if that’s a dealbreaker.
