How it works
- Sessions become gigs and the day-of page is the event day; the vocabulary follows your trade across the sidebar and the client’s pages.
- The music planning phase carries a checklist — first dance, parent dances, entrance, cake, last song, do-not-play list — and a client message that asks for them at the right time.
- Overtime, power and setup terms are line items in the proposal that flow into the contract; overtime billed after the night goes on the invoice into your Stripe.
- Videographers and planners have their own pipelines too, and when the couple’s other vendors use Booksui the client record can be shared.
Honest limits
- Galleries, proofing and print sales exist for every trade but are built around photographs; a DJ will mostly leave them unused.
- Music planning is a checklist and a questionnaire on the job, not a playlist tool; songs are text, not audio.
Steps
- 1Sign up and choose DJ.
- 2Enter your packages and the event agreement terms once.
- 3Send the first proposal from an inquiry; the planning phase asks for the songs when it is time.
Related questions
- Does Booksui have contracts with e-signature?
- Yes — a proposal built from your packages becomes a contract with the client’s details filled in; they sign on their phone, the deposit is requested on the same page, and the signed PDF lands on the job. Templates for weddings, portraits, newborns, events, elopements, commercial work, second shooters and model releases ship with the product.
- Is there a free plan?
- Yes — Starter is free, needs no card and does not expire. It has the same inbox, contracts, invoices, booking page and galleries as the paid plans, with caps on how many.
- Can clients book sessions from my website?
- Yes — your studio gets a public booking page listing the session types you make public; a client picks a time, pays the deposit into your Stripe, and the session appears on your calendar with the client record created. Link to it from your site or embed it.
