Building a proposal
Create proposals with a cover section, about text, service packages, and terms. Use the drag-and-drop editor to arrange sections. Add multiple service tiers so clients can choose the package that fits their budget.
Service packages and pricing
Define packages with itemized line items, quantities, and pricing. Packages can be marked as selectable, letting clients pick their preferred option. Include add-ons and optional items for upselling.
Sending proposals to clients
Share proposals via a unique link sent by email. Clients can view the proposal, select packages, and accept directly in their browser. Track when proposals are viewed and when clients make selections.
Creating contracts
Build contracts with your terms, clauses, and conditions. Use templates to standardize your agreements. A contract links to its proposal and its booking, so each one is in one place.
E-signatures and acceptance
Clients sign contracts online using the built-in e-signature pad. Signatures are timestamped and IP-logged for legal validity. Both parties receive a signed copy via email automatically.
Proposal → contract → retainer, on one page
From a client’s conversation or the inquiry, click Prepare proposal: packages and add-ons come from your price sheet and the client, date and venue are filled in. When the client accepts, the contract is generated from the template for that session type with every merge field resolved, they sign on their phone, and the retainer is set out on the same page; record it on the invoice when it arrives.
Using your own contract wording
Jobs → Contracts → Templates. Paste your agreement and replace names, dates and amounts with merge fields such as {{clientName}}, {{sessionDate}}, {{venueAddress}}, {{totalPrice}}, {{paymentTerms}} and {{deliveryDate}}. The templates installed for your trade are starting points: the Wedding Film Agreement and Video Usage License for a videographer, the Wedding DJ & MC Agreement for a DJ, Full-Service Event Planning and Event Day Coordination agreements for a planner, and the wedding, portrait, newborn, elopement, second-shooter and model-release agreements for a photographer.
What a signature records
Each signature stores the signer’s name and email, the time, IP address and device, and a hash of the exact contract version signed. The signed PDF is stored on the job. If you change a template later, contracts already signed are not affected.
