A creative business owner and her client discussing a project schedule at a studio table

Answers

How do I get paid by clients?

Send an invoice that shows the ways you already get paid, and record each payment as it arrives against the job. Add a payment schedule and reminders, and they stop once the balance is paid.

How it works

  • An invoice belongs to a job, so the balance is always on the right record.
  • You list your own payment methods once and they appear on every invoice.
  • Reminders know when to stop; late fees are optional.

Honest limits

  • Card payments are not switched on yet; clients pay the way you list.
  • Invoices are within the paperwork limits of your plan.

Steps

  1. 1List your payment methods in invoice settings.
  2. 2Create an invoice from the job and send it.
  3. 3Record the payment when it arrives.

Does Booksui send automatic payment reminders?
Yes — an overdue invoice gets a reminder because a payment is missing, and the reminders stop the moment it is not. Late fees, if you switch them on, follow the rate you set.
How much does Booksui cost?
Starter is $12/mo, Pro is $24/mo, Studio is $49/mo and Agency is $99/mo, or $240/year, $490/year and $990/year billed yearly. Pro and Studio start with a 14-day free trial.
Does Booksui have contracts with e-signature?
Yes — a proposal built from your packages becomes a contract with the client’s details filled in; they sign on their phone, and the signed PDF lands on the job.
