Does Booksui send automatic payment reminders?

Yes — an overdue invoice gets a reminder because a payment is missing, and the reminders stop the moment it is not. Late fees, if you switch them on, follow the rate you set.

How it works

  • Each invoice, and each instalment of a payment plan, has its own due date and its own reminder.
  • A daily job checks what is overdue and sends the reminder from your studio’s sending identity; a reply from the client comes back to their conversation.
  • Every sent reminder is on the client’s conversation with its delivery state, reported by the mail provider.

Honest limits

  • Reminders are for invoices Booksui issued; a payment recorded by hand stops them the same way a card payment does.
  • Late fees are off until you set a rate. Reminders can be switched off per studio.

Steps

  1. 1Send the invoice, or set a payment plan on the job.
  2. 2Leave the due dates; reminders go out on their own.
  3. 3Read the thread if a client answers; the reminder stops when they pay.

Can clients pay invoices online?
Yes — every invoice has a pay page where the client pays by card, and the money goes into your own Stripe account, never through Booksui. Deposits, balances and payment plans all use the same page, and a payment marks the invoice paid on the job.
How much does Booksui cost?
Starter is free with no card; Pro is $29/mo, Studio is $59/mo and Agency is $99/mo, or $290/year, $590/year and $990/year billed yearly. Pro and Studio start with a 14-day free trial, and client payments go into your own Stripe account.
What is the Booksui guarantee?
If Booksui is not working for you in your first 30 days on a paid plan, reply to any email from us and we refund that month — no form, no call, and your data exports with you. It is the same sentence on the pricing page, at checkout, in the terms and on the receipt.
