How it works
- Your profile lists your roles, the city and region you work in, your rate and your open dates, and you decide whether studios can find you.
- Studios send Crew Calls for their dates; the ones for your role and area reach you by email and inside Booksui, and you can ignore any of them.
- Verification is optional: identity, insurance and work checks on your Trust Passport show as badges, and joining does not wait on them.
- You do not need to run a studio on Booksui: joining as crew opens your crew profile first.
Honest limits
- How many calls reach you depends on how many studios in your city or region send them; some areas have few so far.
- Booksui does not pay you or hold the fee; the studio pays you directly.
Steps
- 1Sign up from the Find Crew page and choose to join as crew.
- 2Add your roles, area, rate and open dates, then turn on discovery.
- 3Accept the Crew Calls that fit and agree the details with the studio.
Related questions
- How do I find a second shooter for a wedding?
- Send a Crew Call from Find Crew in Booksui with the date, the hours, the city and the fee, and it reaches available second shooters who work in that city or region. They accept or decline, you choose who you book, and Booksui takes no cut of the rate you agree.
- Is Find Crew free, and does Booksui take a cut?
- Yes, it is free: joining Find Crew, keeping a profile, sending a Crew Call and answering one cost nothing, with no card to enter. Booksui takes no cut of the rate, because the studio and the crew member agree the fee and settle it directly.
- How do Crew Calls work on Booksui?
- A studio sends a Crew Call with the role, the date, the hours, the city and the fee, and Booksui sends it to available crew whose roles match and who work in that city or region. Each person accepts or declines, the studio books one, and contact details are shared once the booking is confirmed.
