How do Crew Calls work on Booksui?

A studio sends a Crew Call with the role, the date, the hours, the city and the fee, and Booksui sends it to available crew whose roles match and who work in that city or region. Each person accepts or declines, the studio books one, and contact details are shared once the booking is confirmed.

How it works

  • Roles cover the whole wedding team: second shooters, videographers for a second camera, DJs covering a date, coordinators and assistants.
  • Crew see the call by email and inside Booksui, with everything they need to decide before replying.
  • Trust Passport badges show which identity, insurance and work checks are current; they are optional for crew and help the studio choose.
  • Booksui records the accepted date, role and fee, and the studio and the crew member arrange payment directly.

Honest limits

  • A call reaches only people who have joined and are available in that area; where few have joined, it may reach nobody yet.
  • Booksui does not process payment for a Crew Call.
