Run of show

One timeline everyone works from

On the day, a coordinator’s timeline is the plan every vendor follows. In Booksui it is built on the job — each moment with its time, its place and the person responsible — and shared by one link, so the photographer, the DJ, the caterer and the couple all read the same version.

Built on the job

Add each moment of the day with its start time, length, location and who is responsible. Moving one moment moves the ones after it, so a late ceremony does not leave the rest of the plan wrong.

One shared link

Share a read-only link with the couple and every vendor. When you change the timeline, the link shows the change; nobody works from a PDF that went out last Tuesday.

Vendors on the same record

The vendors attached to the job — venue, caterer, photographer, DJ — are the people the timeline names, with their contacts one tap away from the moment they are responsible for.

How it works

  1. 1Open the job and start the timeline from the ceremony time.
  2. 2Add each moment with its time, place and the person responsible.
  3. 3Share the link with the couple and the vendors.
  4. 4Update it as plans change; the link always shows the latest version.

Questions

Do vendors need an account?
No. They open the link on their phone.
Can the couple edit it?
No. The link is read-only, so the timeline stays the one you approved.
