File transfers

Files in and out, on the job they belong to

A videographer’s masters, a photographer’s raw files, a planner’s floor plan, the song list a DJ needs from the couple: some files are not a gallery. A transfer sends them on a branded download page, or asks the client to upload theirs to you, and it stays on the client’s record with the job.

Send, or request

Send files and the client gets a download page with your message. Request files and they get an upload page instead, so the couple’s song choices, a venue floor plan or a logo for a brand film arrive where the job is, not in an email thread.

A password and an end date

Add a password the client types before the page opens, and choose how long it stays open: a week by default, longer, or with no end date.

On the client’s record

Link a transfer to the contact and the job, and it sits beside their contract and invoices. Client actions on it are written to the Evidence log, so “we never got the files” can be answered with a date.

How it works

1Open Galleries (Delivery for videographers, DJs and planners) → File delivery, then choose Send files or Request files.
2Upload, add a message, and link the contact and the job.
3Set a password and an end date if you want them.
4Send the link from the client’s conversation.

Honest limits

File transfers: 2 a month on Starter, 15 on Pro, 50 on Studio and unlimited on Agency.
Storage: 25 GB on Starter, 100 GB on Pro, 500 GB on Studio, 2 TB on Agency. Each file’s size cap is shown on the upload screen.
