Guests and seating
From the guest list to the escort cards
The guest list, the replies, the meal counts and the seating chart are one piece of work that usually lives in four places. Booksui keeps them on the event: guests by household, replies through a private RSVP page, and a seating plan that warns you when a table is over and gives you printable escort cards.
Guests by household
Each guest has their party, contact, reply, meal and dietary needs, and whether they may bring a plus-one. Import the couple’s spreadsheet as a CSV, or let the couple add guests from their portal.
A private RSVP page
Guests open the link on the invitation and type their own name and the event code printed on it. They see only their own party, by first name, and answer for everyone in it — meals, dietary needs and the name of their plus-one.
Seat the room
Add the tables with their seats and shape, then drag guests onto them or pick a table beside each name. A table seated over its capacity is flagged, not refused.
Printed for the day
A printable seating chart with each table’s guests and meals, and the escort-card list of every seated guest from A to Z with their table.
How it works
- 1Open the event and go to Planning → Guests & RSVP.
- 2Import the guest list or add guests by household.
- 3Turn on online RSVP and put the link and code on the invitation.
- 4Add the tables under Seating and place everyone who is coming.
- 5Hand the venue the printable seating chart and escort cards.
Questions
- Can a guest see who else is invited?
- No. A guest finds their own party by their full name and the event code, and sees first names only — never an email, a phone number or a table.
- Can the couple manage the list?
- If you open it to them. They add and edit guests and replies from their portal and see the seating read-only.
- What happens after the reply-by date?
- The RSVP page stops taking replies and asks late guests to contact the couple.
