How it works
- The call states everything a DJ needs to decide (date, hours, place and fee), so the first reply is a yes or a no.
- DJs who take cover dates join Find Crew as crew and name the city and region they play in; you can do the same for the nights you are free.
- Trust Passport badges show which identity, insurance and work checks a DJ has current; they are optional.
Honest limits
- Reach depends on how many DJs in your city or region have joined; in some places that is few so far.
- Booksui does not pay the covering DJ or hold the fee.
Steps
- 1Open Network in Booksui and complete your profile.
- 2Send a Crew Call for the date with the hours, city and fee.
- 3Book the DJ who accepts and agree the details directly.
Related questions
- How do Crew Calls work on Booksui?
- A studio sends a Crew Call with the role, the date, the hours, the city and the fee, and Booksui sends it to available crew whose roles match and who work in that city or region. Each person accepts or declines, the studio books one, and contact details are shared once the booking is confirmed.
- Does Booksui work for DJs?
- Yes — pick DJ as your trade and the pipeline runs inquiry, consultation, proposal, booked, music planning, final details and event day, with the planning meeting as a real phase and the couple’s must-plays and do-not-plays kept on the job. Contracts, the deposit at signing and the shared inbox work the same as for a photographer.
- Is Find Crew free, and does Booksui take a cut?
- Yes, it is free: joining Find Crew, keeping a profile, sending a Crew Call and answering one cost nothing, with no card to enter. Booksui takes no cut of the rate, because the studio and the crew member agree the fee and settle it directly.
