If you shoot, film, DJ, coordinate or assist, and you have dates open, a Booksui Network profile is a way for studios to find you without you chasing them. It is free, and it takes about ten minutes.

TL;DR: Create an account, choose the roles you cover, say where you are based and how far you travel, add your rates and your open dates, and decide who can see you. Studios sending a Crew Call that matches your roles, area and dates will see you. You choose which calls to answer.

Step by step

  1. Create your account. Sign up free. No card is needed.
  2. Choose your roles. Second shooter, second camera, DJ cover, coordinator, assistant, editor. Pick what you do well, not everything you could do.
  3. Set your base and your reach. Your home city, and how far you will travel.
  4. Add your rates. A day rate, an hourly rate, or both. This is what studios see up front.
  5. Add your open dates. Keep these current. A calendar that is up to date is the most useful thing on your profile.
  6. Add proof. A short list of events you have worked, with your role, and a link to a gallery or reel.
  7. Read the privacy options. You choose how discoverable you are.

What studios see, and what they do not

  • Studios sending a Crew Call that matches your roles, your city or region and your dates see you.
  • You are not published on the open web.
  • Your contact details are not handed out. They stay private until a match is confirmed.
  • You will not be cold-contacted. A studio reaches you through a Crew Call you can ignore.
  • Nothing is automatic. You say yes to the ones you want.

What does it cost?

Nothing to create a profile, appear in Crew Calls or answer them. Booksui does not take a cut of your fee. You agree it directly with the studio and keep all of it.

What happens after you join?

When a studio sends a Crew Call that fits, you are notified. You see the date, location, hours, role and rate, and you decide. Over time, completed jobs on Booksui build signals other studios can read, and optional verification badges help you rank higher without ever gating whether you appear.

The Network is new. The people who set up their profile now are the ones studios will find first as it fills.

Create your free profile, or see whether it is free to join.
