The moments
- Eleven DMs asking "is ten-thirty still free" at the same time.
- A family who booked and did not pay, holding a slot someone else wanted.
- Sending the same "here is your address and what to wear" email twelve times.
- The gallery for each of twelve families, delivered one at a time.
What goes wrong
- Double-booked slots, because two people said yes to the same time in two DMs.
- Unpaid holds that turn into no-shows.
- The prep email that goes to eleven families and not the twelfth.
What Booksui does
- A mini-session type sets the length, the buffer and the price; the booking page shows the day’s slots and a family picks one and pays in full, into your Stripe, before it is theirs.
- The booking creates the client and the session on your calendar; Google Calendar sync takes the slot out of your personal calendar too.
- The phase after booking carries the prep message — address, timing, what to wear — sent from the job at the right moment.
- Each family gets their own gallery with favorites, downloads and print offers from your price sheet.
Honest limits
- Starter: 1 booking page, 10 bookings a month, 3 galleries. Twelve families means twelve galleries, so a mini-session day fits Pro (25 galleries) better than Starter.
- The booking page books the slots you make public; it does not post to Instagram for you.
Related answers
- Can clients book sessions from my website?
- Yes — your studio gets a public booking page listing the session types you make public; a client picks a time, pays the deposit into your Stripe, and the session appears on your calendar with the client record created. Link to it from your site or embed it.
- How many galleries are on the free plan?
- The free Starter plan includes 3 active client galleries and 25 GB of storage. Pro raises that to 25 galleries and 100 GB; on Studio and Agency galleries are unlimited.
- Is there a free plan?
- Yes — Starter is free, needs no card and does not expire. It has the same inbox, contracts, invoices, booking page and galleries as the paid plans, with caps on how many.
